“The Perfect Mound game mound and bullpen mounds at Carshield Field were extremely durable during the 2017 season. There was very limited wear and tear on mounds that were used multiple times per day by players wearing turf shoes and molded cleats. From a pitching standpoint, there is very little bounce during delivery, making the mounds feel more like clay and less like rubber. The mounds also maintained adequate grip and footing when wet.”
